Angelique L. Smith is a distinguished, award-winning PreK-12 educator and leader with over 30 years of transformative impact in education nationally and internationally. Her career has been defined by a steadfast focus on continuous school improvement, curriculum development, leadership, and STEM education, all in the service of fostering equitable, high-quality learning environments. Currently, a doctoral candidate in Education Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Angelique consults with school leaders globally, driving sustainable educational improvements through strategic systems. Recently, she has provided leadership coaching to districts in Rochester, NY, Louisville, KY, and Boston, MA.

Angelique’s career includes serving as the Chief STEM and Innovation Officer at The Omolade Academy in Appleton, Wisconsin, and as a School Effectiveness Specialist for the Georgia Department of Education, where she impacted rural, urban, and suburban districts. With data-driven leadership at her core, she applies renowned frameworks such as Harvard’s PELP and Data Wise Frameworks to guide decision-making, instilling confidence in her leadership.

Her extensive background includes roles as a secondary mathematics teacher, elementary and middle school principal, district mathematics coordinator, and regional coordinator in DeKalb County, Georgia. Angelique enjoys live music, Broadway shows, and travel, while continuing to shape education globally.
