Bryson Kantrell Green

Bryson Kantrell Green is a second-year Doctor of Education Leadership candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Before joining Harvard, he served as principal of IDEA Southeast College Preparatory School in Fort Worth, Texas, and previously held education leadership roles in Brooklyn, New York, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he began his career as a Teach For America corps member in 2013.

Committed to dismantling educational inequities, Bryson centers his work on partnering with families, students, and communities to drive sustainable, systems-level change across the education ecosystem.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, an MA from Alverno College, and an MBA from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. On campus, Bryson serves as president of the Harvard Black Graduate Student Alliance and supports the coordination of Black Graduation. Outside of his work, he enjoys theatre, visiting art museums, exploring new recipes, and all things karaoke.
