As a 7th-year school leader in the Highline Public School district, Tremain previously served as assistant principal at Raisbeck Aviation High School and a principal at Highline High School. Tremain completed his principal internship at Boston Public Schools and taught high school mathematics at Durham Public Schools in Durham, NC. As a former College Division 1 athlete, Tremain earned his bachelor’s degree at North Carolina Central University and his master’s in School Leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). Tremain is a Husband and a father of two school-age learners, an infant, and an Australian labradoodle. As an equity-driven leader, he is committed to academic excellence and innovative opportunities that ALL our learners deserve. For the past two years before returning to HGSE to pursue the Doctor of Educational Leadership program, Tremain’s visionary leadership style led to the successful opening of Maritime High School, a mastery/competency-based, project-based learning high school in the Greater Seattle Area.
